Acura NSX spotted in Charlotte, North Carolina

Details on This Acura NSX:

  • Location
    Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Description
Stumbled upon this NSX randomly parked at an inspection center in South End (note the RU-DUE sign behind it). I was definitely "due" to get an NSX on camera, as it had been a while. Wasn't expecting to see this that day, as it was a Monday with a high of only about 38° F, but it was a weird day. This is probably the best looking NSX I've ever seen.

I've seen a Roadster on I-77 and two coupes at car shows. There are a few Murcielagos in the area, but they are definitely hard to spot.

Would love to see that - strangely enough I've never seen a Murcielago in Charlotte!

Awesome, didn't know about that one! Hope you see it again and get some pics! I think there's also a red Countach 5000 QV in Charlotte as well. Also I forgot to mention, there's also a new blue Murcielago LP640 Roadster in Charlotte as well. The owner just got it about three weeks ago and I think also has a GT-R.

Actually saw a different Countach. The one I saw had the big wing and I think it had white wheels as well but I can't be 100% sure since I only saw it briefly. Like this: http://www.thewheelsofsteel.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/lamborghini-countach-03.jpg

I'm not sure what part of Charlotte the Aventador Roadsters are from, but I know they're in the area. Was it this Countach? He comes to some of the car shows around Charlotte. My brother and I saw it earlier this year, and Horse-Power actually also saw it when he was up here a few years ago. We saw it in South End, Horse-Power saw it in uptown.

I've also seen a silver Diablo Roadster in South End, but unfortunately it flew through the South Blvd/East Blvd intersection and I missed getting a pic. Hope you do see some good cars around though. I see a lot of Bentleys, Maseratis, and GT-Rs driving around in Charlotte, but unless they're new models I don't go out of my way to snap any pics because they're pretty common.

Dang, I haven't heard about any of these! Hopefully I'll see something soon. This is completely random but I actually saw a white Coutnach driving near Myers Park Country Club last year but couldn't get a picture since it came out of nowhere going the other way. Has anyone seen or heard about that? Still am yet to see it again.

I did see a grey Slingshot on I-485 on Tuesday, and I've seen either the same one or a different grey Slingshot driving around on Mallard Creek Ch Rd a couple times too. One time it was driving around with a T-Rex, and I did get a pic of them sitting at a light. I didn't know there was a red 4C in Charlotte, although I'm not terribly surprised. I know there's a white one around too, as it shows up to a lot of car shows. Also there's a new white Aventador SV Roadster in the Rock Hill area that comes to C&C a lot, and there are a couple of late model Gallardos that have been popping up in South Charlotte as well, plus there's a new orange Aventador Roadster in the area and I think there might be a new white Aventador Roadster as well. I'll keep an eye out for the 4C as well, as I don't think any have been posted from NC yet. I've seen three or four 4Cs but missed them all.

That's mad! I hate the feeling of missing a photo when a nice car goes by. I've been out and Charlotte because I've been going away for school this year and last year, although last year I remember as soon as we left the airport when I came home for a break two Ferrari 360's (one light blue/silver spider and one red modena) sped past us on the highway out of nowhere and I wasn't able to get pictures. Luckily though my friend and I randomly saw 3 Polaris Slingshots and a heavily customized T-Rex while walking around Freedom Park, and also saw a red 4c the next day which I got pictures of. I'm hoping that luck carries over to Thanksgiving break. I'll be able to upload more of my old photos since I won't have to worry about schoolwork.

Haha that's awesome! I remember one time when my mom, brother, and I were heading down to Charlotte a couple years back, and we met my dad at Jason's Deli in Cary for lunch on the way. The restaurant faces the main street through the plaza, and while we were eating I somehow saw four NSXs drive past. Unfortunately I was unable to get any pics, although I did see a 458 in South End when we got to Charlotte later that evening, so I guess that sort of compensated for missing all those NSXs. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for anything you post. You seem to have a knack for spotting a lot of cars that I have never seen in Charlotte, so it's always cool to see the cars you spot. Charlotte's been pretty slow for me lately; saw a yellow Cayman GT4 at Dean & Deluca in Southpark about a week and a half ago, and a red GT-R at Concord Mills this past Monday night, but aside from those I haven't seen a whole lot.

That's crazy, I still haven't seen one of the new ones yet, although I did see a sweet red 1991 NSX a few months back. Funny enough my mom and I saw another red one in the same shopping center a year before, and while my mom and I were talking about that one when we turn a corner and see a different red NSX. Turns out it was different owners and was completely random that we saw two in the same place! I'll upload pics of the more recent one soon, I already uploaded the one from before.

This is one of the best-looking NSXs I've ever seen. Wish I would've taken more pics of it! (I only took one other shot). Thanks for taking the time to check out this shot. Within the past couple of weeks I have spotted an older NSX in yellow and a new NSX in white after not seeing any NSXs in months.

I know this is late but I'm just seeing it now - looks great! Nice shot as well. NSX's never get old, do they? They'll always have a special place in my heart.

Thanks Dustin! It had a dealer plate on it so I'm not sure where it was from.

Whoops missed this upload. Great find! I don't think I've seen this NSX around before. It looks really good.

Seems like I don't see NSX's around nearly as much as I used to.

Thanks Parker. Just a heads up, we'll be in Charlotte this weekend and I'm trying to figure out a way to get up to Birkdale to do some spotting on Saturday (since it's only about a 15 minute drive for me).

Thanks guys! It is an awesome spec. Ryan, I'm glad you like it, because it was only about 35° outside and I didn't even get out of the car to shoot this.
