Just experienced the same thing. Got in touch with people for a Silver Shadow on Craigslist, I called and they accepted my offer and then have been radio silent every since I asked for more photos...
It's not a real sale. Sorry man.
Only way a NSX would be that price is if it's been salvaged, not repaired, and in need of $15k+ repairs OR somebody is real generous and give a smoken deal.
Wow just looked it up that does seem crazy cheap...especially with a stick. Let me know how it goes though, if it's somehow real that's one hell of a car for the money
Thanks guys! Due to my work schedule, the best opportunities I have for spotting now mainly end up falling towards the end of each day, so usually I'll drive through Glenwood South on nice Friday and Saturday nights. This is the second original NSX I've seen in this area within the past six months or so. If you can find one for relatively cheap, it wouldn't be entirely unreasonable to daily drive.
I was poking around on Cars.com and ran across an NSX for sale for $14k.... obviously seems too good to be true, but I'm contacting the seller. If it's somehow legit, I will buy it.
Another great post from you Nick. Loving your night shots. Loving this color, one of my favorite cars in the world. I hope one day I can buy one before they get into unreachable price territory.
