Description The highlight of the lunch meetup was probably this combo right here of an Aston Martin DB MkIII and a classic Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage. The DB MkIII is one of 551 built and is worth around $250,000, and the AM V8 Vantage is one of 342 and is worth around $225,000. A pretty solid and rare combo if you ask me!
LOL thanks Jeff! I couldn't either when I was standing there, especially with a Renault 5 Turbo, Lamborghini Countach, and Ferrari 275 GTS there as well.
Wow. The show ended at 11:00 AM, that gave people a solid two hours to leave. If there were any cars that decided to come back by 1:00 PM, that is pure coincidence that they were there for me to spot. I do not believe this is a pseudo-spot, but whatever floats your boat I suppose.
I didn't realise that Vantage could be worth around 225k. But I'd take the one on the right for the extra 25,000$.
@spotterjeff:
In a case like that, the spot in question could fall under what Gregg calls a "Pseudo Spot". Pseudo spot is basically a spot that isn't a spot/doesn't count as a spot but is allowed. I don't remember whats the rules are for what counts as a pseudo spot though.
Thanks guys! Jeff I do understand what you mean, and I have only one or two more spots to post from this and then that will be done because there were lots of insane cars there. I agree @waddle2gracious, why?
Thanks so much guys! Luke I agree the rims on the AMV8 Vantage are horrible, and Jack I agree they are beautiful. There was a white one at the show earlier in the day as well, so I saw two that day!
