Description The owner was the biggest asshoIe on the planet. He not only swore at me when he saw me taking pictures, he threw an empty Pepsi bottle at me. Then I got in a childish physical fight with him and.. it wasn't pretty. Anyway, nice 1st-gen Continenta; GT V-12 in Boston. Normally there's a Lexus RX owned by the restaurant but apparently a Bentley gets special treatment. No surprise - the valets usually drive the Kia's and Camaro's, not this.
I can understand when you're driving or it drives by you(but i ussually have them pull over when that happens) but how could you not have time if it's parked???
@Fishchicken, I ussually get a couple hundred photos of each exotic i see (however rare it is) to make sure i get the perfect angle and no blur, so i can pick the perfect ones to upload. Although i often run out of memory, i think it's well worth it.
I think it's really annoying when people on here only take a picture of one side of the car, in any weather, without caring about the surroundings, because every time you see a car, nomatter where it is, there's always going to be a "good side" and a "bad side" to get pictures of. Whether it's snow/rain angles changing the vision of the car, or the sun angles making glare, or a curb/wall/other car constricting your angle, shadows, or even traffic; it's always best to get all your angles on both sides of the car to get the right picture. There are some people who can get away with just the right pictures by camera technology(mixed with judgeness) or things like that, but there are some people on here who really just dont care at all.
DjShift, you took over 100 pictures of a Shelby GT500? That's great. Many people, even on this site, seem to take only 1 or 2 pictures of any given car, no matter how rare, and later wonder how they don't have a single shot that feels perfect to them.
I've never met a mean or rude owner.
Some kinda odd joking ones, but never anything i've held as bad.
One guy rang the alarm button on his ZL1 as i was taking pictures to make his girlfriend laugh. I really had no reaction though so it didn't really work and we started having a conversation about the car.
And another guy with a GT500 said i'd have to pay him $5 per picture but he didn't know i already got over 100 pictures (including one with an E-Type with it)
Wow, what an embarrassingly idiotic owner. He must have had a damn hard time or just incredible luck earning the money for the car, if he's resorting to violence and insults the second people around him don't do exactly what he wants. At least you got an interesting memory out of the encounter, and maybe showed the moron that the universe doesn't revolve around him.
Almost all exotic owners I've met have been very nice, and the exceptions are always very passive and never say anything besides a grumpy "hmph".
