A Licenseplate in the UK defines what year the car was registered. A 62 plate means it has been registered from 1st September 2012-28th February 2013!

62 plates only come out in september

we get letters like MX62EXT, the letters change for new cars but the numbers stay the same

next set of numbers will be 13 for 2013 in march then 63 next sept
