Description I spotted this very elegant classic Rolls-Royce in a more rural part of Naperville. I think it is a Silver Cloud, but help from our Rolls experts would be appreciated.
UPDATE: "The Silver Cloud I was built from 1955-1959, not 1957. This poor car is actually a Bentley S1 with a Rolls-Royce grille attached. The clue is in the rounded Bentley bonnet panels and their improper alignment with the RR grille."

Sadly, the idea of this cars rural location being the explanation for it's problems, doesn't really explain it. It would have not been easy to find a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud radiator grille shell. Particularly out in the middle of nowhere. No, unfortunately, these cars represent the lower aspects of people's nature. These cars are created by people who, whether actually rich or poor, are cheap. And not embarrassed by it. The irony is that they buy garbage cars and then try to put "lipstick on the pig" to impress their unknowing neighbors. If only I lived next door! I'd be happy to tell them just what I thought lol.
