We all know Maserati - a brand of speed, power, and luxury. Ever since the brand has been acquired by Ferrari, they have released cars that are some of the best of the best. For any of us who have seen a GranCabrio with our own eyes, we can confirm it really does look great. Now, there is a new version -
Introducing the 2013 GranCabrio MC Stradale.
Maserati tried keeping it a secret until the Paris Auto Show, but it didn't work. This new monster looks identical to the GranTurismo MC Stradale, only with the roof chopped off. The GranCabrio MC Stradale will produce a total of 460 BHP (which is 10 more horsepower than its coupe sister, the GranTurismo MC Stradale) from a 4.7L V8 with a peak torque of 383ft-lbs of torque at 4750 rpm.
The performance of the new convertible version won't be quite as good as the GranTurismo MC Stradale’s 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds and top speed of 186 MPH due to its added weight, but it won't be too far off. The GranCabrio
MC will feature an automatic 6-speed ZF transmission and will run 0-60 in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 179 MPH.
What do you think about this car? Love it or think it's useless? Let me know!
