Police cars are usually boring and used mainly for patrolling the streets and chasing down criminals, but once in a while, Police forces across the world are given some impressive machinery to use for promotional reasons or for actually using as everyday police vehicles. Here are my personal favorites.

10. Subura Impreza STI Mitsubishi Evo 8

Above are two police vehicles, a Subaru Impreza STI and a Mitsubishi evolution 8 used by the ANPR unit in Essex. They may not seem exotic but they are fast and can easily catch up to criminals, both vehicles have been used in multiple chases across the county.

9. Lotus Evora S

This Lotus Evora S was loaned to the Romanian Police Force to hunt down speeders and show who's boss. I see that the Evora is turning into the perfect police vehicle of choice.

The Carabinieri were given two by Lotus.

This Lotus Evora S was loaned to the Central Motorway police group to patrol along the M1 in the midlands, it was only used for a few weeks but did catch many speeders.

8. Ferrari 348

This Ferrari 348 was originally seized by Colombian Police, it was owned by a drug baron but got impounded and turned into a police vehicle, unfortunately it will only be used for Promotional reasons.

7. Lamborghini Gallardo

This Lamborghini Gallardo is owned by Belgium Police and is used for Promotional reasons at the same time they also had a Porsche 911 997 Turbo 

6. Lamborghini Gallardo Gembella Ferrari 360

I have put this trio of Exotics in 6th because i'm still not sure if they are real. What you can see is a Lamborghini Gallardo Gembella 650 GT Avalanche and a Ferrari 360 Modena, quite an awesome combo and if they are real then thats crazy.

5.  Ford RS200

This Ford RS200 was in use by the British Police in the 1980s, considering it was one of the rarest cars to see, to use one as a police car is pretty damn cool.

4. Brabus Rocket

This was a hard choice for me as there have been some amazing police cars from germany such as the TechArt 911 and the ABT Audi R8 GTR, but to me this amazing Brabus, the fastest 4 door car in the world, makes it into number 4. It's the fastest police car in the world.

3. Lamborghini Gallardo

I decided to use the original one for the photo as that was the one that everybody was talking about, it's a shame it crashed but at least they now have a LP560-4 they use the lambo for patrolling the Auto Strada and for emergency organ transport.

2. Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

This is just awesome, one of the best Lamborghinis in British Police Livery used for promotional reasons in London in 2007 to me this deserves the second spot.

1. Spyker C8

To me, this is the best police Super car.  Such a crazy exotic, and to give one to the police I'm sure the Flevoland police department officers were fighting over the keys to drive this car.
