Ashoor the reason I still spot after all these years is because the thrill of driving around and not knowing what you will find around any corner. I still get a rush of adrenaline every time I see or hear a exotic! Spotting in Miami is like being a kid at Xmas you know you should get something special you just don't know how valuable!
My goodness... what an insane combo! It's like the cars were waiting for you LOL. One of my biggest combos consisted of four cars: Koenigsegg Agera R, Pagani Huayra, 918 Weissach, and an SLS! I never thought I would see a Koenigsegg in this country since they were never sold here and only 25 exist on this planet! You have no idea how excited I was West!
Thread's been dead for a few days, but for the record, I wasn't posting the video to call you out for non-legit spots or anything. I was just sharing a video I found of all the Veyrons together with the Vivere, since I knew you had spotted all of them all over Miami (your shot only had the Vivere in it, so I wasn't sure if you had seen them all together or not).
What I did forget to say on your other pic is that I really like all these shots you got of the Bugattis. This worked great for your 400th pic!
I've already seen the Pur Blanc and I wouldn't mind seeing the Vivere, but the Alkon is one of my favorite Veyrons, and it's the one I'd like to see next. It's evaded me a couple times now - not only did I miss it at car week, but a few days after car week, it was spotted in San Francisco, right next to my orthodontist's building, the day BEFORE I was there for an appointment.
Lol. As nice as it would be to see 200 likes, it means more to me that you and everyone else knows all my spots are random and in the wild. Thanks for the comments.
I hear you Joe about the sand lol. Here all you have to do is grab a table on Ocean Drive. With a table facing the beach with a cold drink in hand and watch the scenery.
No exotics are driven on the sand at this location.
I had to laugh at the pic about "one less veyron then Andrewo's spot". If he posted this spot it would have 200 l/f's by now. :) Anyways, great find. Not a big fan of the Veyron, seems like the struggled to sell cars so they started making all of these "special edition" models to help them sell. Either way, great shot.
Oh no no no, I hate beaches even though I know the girls are fine but I can't f**king stand sand, it gets everywhere on you and the car and if I had an exotic I would never go on a damn beach hahaha.
Joe Miami is one of those special places that exotic cars are driven as daily drivers. The atmosphere and night life is legendary. You got to love the beaches as well.
Nice spot West, I really need to go Miami someday to see all these fabulous cars. Now even though I love the colorway of the Alkon, I'd have to take that gray/silver GrandSport for the open top experience.
That Saturday I was taking a shot of a white FF in front of the Eden Roc hotel, when I spotted the chrome and black Veyron heading South across the street from where I was standing. I was able to get a shot but it was not a great one. ( I did post the FF and Veyron shot on CE) I eventually made my way in that direction after checking out Bal Harbor. When I made it to South beach all 5 cars where parked at the Ritz. That guy that made the video of that luncheon is that friend of that Ben Chen I learned. Thanks for the info Jamaal.
