Description Not sure if I'll be able to get all my Veyrons on here, but I've been pretty lucky to see a few out. This one was in Reston Town Center. I think it was in D.C. a couple days before, then it showed up close to where I worked and I had to get a shot. This is the car that was later wrecked in NYC when a truck backed into it, and I believe is now up for sale
@Mr. Rabbit: Well, yes, I've taken a lot of pictures, & made a few more. @FFM: I honestly think it sounds like you're not very sure about what your about to say. What do you mean '...making up stuff.'? Do you mean that you probably feel like I maybe typed that stuff into a comment box out of thin air? That I didn't even look at the photo or gave it some thought about WHY I liked it so much? Worse, saying '...honestly think ...Fast is making up stuff' is essentially calling me dishonest, Mr. Honesty. I'm wasting my time with this, gonna cut to the chase. Your comment stated 8 (eight) opinions. Everyone is entitled to everyone's opinions. Your opinions are as valid & as worthless as are mine. The only thing you seem to be sure of, and sounds like your proud of as well, is that you like ( oh I missed this one, 9, opinions) that noxious rule of thirds, you know. No I do not know, I see photographs, not rules. Rules are limitations. Learn the rules, then break them, if you wanna make better pictures & have fun. If everyone did rule of turds then everyone's photos would be the same, monotonous, boring. I posited 8 attributes that I recognized in this photo. You offer nothing in response except "not a bad picture, don't get me wrong, don't match, I'm sorry, unnecessary, & inaccurate." You're a real positive guy. Why didn't YOU type about the photo itself, what about the photo?? Positive or negative. You certainly do not have to agree with me, but if you are so inspired as to type something, what do YOU stand FOR? Crapping on a contributor is an easy mark. It'd take more thought, work, & insight to figure out this picture for yourself.
I honestly think it sounds like fast is making up stuff. I mean it's not a bad picture at all, don't get me wrong. I know what the terms you're using mean, and those don't match with this photo. However I do like how the car isn't center frame (rule of thirds, you know). I'm sorry, I just think all the "contrasting textures" and "foreground/background relationship" is completely unnecessary and inaccurate to the photo itself.
A quiet, classy, steady picture. Love the way the colors work, the contrasting textures yet the BV could fit into a background box, has the same proportions, & the foreground/background relationship is perfect.
I drove right through the Town Center and didn't even see this. I went on every street but this one that day because no one ever parks their exotics in front of Vapianos
