I agree Chris it is one great looking car! Having the Ferrari F12 chassis helps it even more as a serious car! I think it would do better in sales if it offered a modern 7 speed dual clutch paddle shifter gearbox as an option though.
Believe it or not, the new '13+(5th Gen) Viper is actually my absolute favorite new car in production. IMO it is just ACHINGLY beautiful; a sensual design from front to back that has such awesome presence in person and looks stunning from every single angle. Sexy and muscular at the same time. It's a modern evolution of the original GTS Coupe which I absolutely love. It, and the Murcielago LP-640, are about the only two cars from the 21st century that I'd consider "poster cars"; cars whose designs are so well executed and clean that they'd look great hanging on a wall as art. Cars that decades from now will be seen as almost timelessly beautiful.
On top of the perfectly-executed design, I love the fact that it's still a raw and brutal monster that requires you to have brass balls to extract most of its performance. It's still manual-only (a plus to me) and still a handful when you get out of line; it won't coddle you, it'll bite you when you get cocky. It requires you to DRIVE. An analog car in a digital age that's pushing to remove the driver's input from the equation with each new generation.
So, uh, long story short: I FREAKING LOVE THE VIPER! LOL
