Dodge Viper spotted in Galena, Illinois

    This caught me completely by surprise (kinda like the orange Elise). As the Halloween parade was going through, I scrambled like crazy to get my phone out and get this shot off in time when I saw this '96 Viper behind a float, which the shot is obviously rather crappy because of phone camera + night lighting + objects in motion. The guy gave a full-throttle rev when he passed by and I about climaxed lol.

Me too. The 1st and 2nd Gen RT/10s ('92-'02) are my favorite Vipers. Though less refined and rather crude, my overall favorite is the 1st Gen with the sidepipes ('92-'95). IMO they look the best, and they're just so raw and unforgiving.

Actually, these aren't "Lambo" stripes: They're factory stripes used on the 1996 RT/10 Roadster. There was this black w/ gray stripes combo, and also white w/ blue stripes combo.

I'd seen the white/blue before, but this was my first black/gray, and it looked awesome.
