Description This man is one rich man. I've spotted this 308 GT4, his Ferrari 550 and one of his GT3's so far, wonder what else he has in his collection? Anyway, this was my first road spot of a 308 GT4. I heard it coming towards me while I was in the Porsche Dealership, so I ran outside to the intersection to get pictures.
Not much chance of going in sorry. Only friends and if you're going to buy a lambo. We went and looked at a v8 vantage today! And I spotted over 50 cars!! Great dayn
Yo Matt, in your display picture, is that the garage you're talking about?!? That's crazy!! If it's not that garage in Auckland, then where is that?? Haha.
Nice! Tell him to test drive the cars first, to see if he likes the way they handle and the way they drive for a little while.
Also, tell him to come up to Auckland to test drive them, cause i wanna see the exotics on the streets!! Haha.
Don't do that haha, they are far too common. If you've got the money to afford an exotic that not many people have, then why would you own a Holden? Plus, there are tons of classics over here. Tell him to get something that he likes, and something that stands out.
You could get anything $600k upwards CarsInNZ, but you have to seriously think about every aspect of the car. The normal SV Aventador is $900,000 NZD, so the Roadster will be a higher price, and i believe is more exclusive. Also, if he owns Ferrari's now, why not keep increasing his Ferrari collection? 488GTB, GTC4Lusso (when it comes out to NZ), 458 Speciale?
Or go to Lamborghini? LP580-2 (Rear wheel drive Huracan), Huracan Spyder, Aventador etc?
Or maybe go McLaren? 675LT / 675LT Spider?
There are endless possibilities. He doesn't have to get just one car for over $600k, he could get a couple of cars for that price. It's all about choosing the best thing for his preferences.
The current market value of the Pagani Huayra in the U.S. is $1.32 millionish. To be precise $1,314,000. Now, if you convert that to NZD in current times, it converts to $1,981,000. That's just under $2 million NZD. That's very expensive for a car, however the One-77 cost $2.9 million NZD, and the 2 LaF's cost roughly $2 million each aswell.
I doubt your uncle could buy one, but I know a few people who could. One of our friends owns a Gallardo Spyder, and could be changing to the Huracan Spyder very soon!!
And really Matt? Taupo?!? There's hardly any exotics there! When i went, I saw a Maserati GT, 3 Porsche's, an XKR, a GT-R and a Bentley... That's was in 4 days too...
The only people rich enough to purchase Pagani's will be very few people in NZ, and I reckon they'll all be in Auckland. I don't think there are many super rich people in Christchurch.
