Hallo, the first 308gtb's where made with a fiberglass body to spot one you must look at the top of the windscreen pillar and the roofpanel iff there is an indent line between those than it is a model with a fiberglass body these 308's are also called "vetrovisina". These where made from 1975 untill june 1977 ( only 808 vetrovisina's where made). You can also look at the windows, especially the side or rear windows, front windscreen can be replaced through the years, there is on every window a stamp with the name and logo of the window manufacturer aswel the name and/or logo of the car manufacturer there are also some numbers and one of these numbers tell you the year the window was made, this number is separetly and goes from 0-9, sometimes accompanied with some dots or a letter from the alfabet A-L (A-Januari....L-december). Almost every car has that so you can check it on your own vehicle . Now you can tell witch year the window was made and mostly a few weeks later it was fitted into the new car. The only thing you need to know yourself is in wich decade the car was build/sold and you can identify the year of build of the car.
