Ferrari 365 GT spotted in Malibu, California

Details on This Ferrari 365 GT:

  • Location
    Malibu, California
  • Description
INSANE FIND and an unusual combo! This is a very rare 1971 or 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 along with a customized VW Bus with a tent on the back! Definitely something you won't see everyday and Malibu is an amazing city that has a lot to offer: Beautiful weather, beaches, great restaurants that will/won't break the bank, gorgeous and hot girls, and an endless amount of exotic cars! By the way this was taken with my brand new Nikon D3200 and only 505 365 GTC/4s were ever made!!

Hi Ashoor. I have had a chance to see this model a lot over the years. The Cavallino Classics down in West Palm Beach has every Ferrari you can think of in a abundance. The classics are just getting harder and harder to spot on the open road. At least here in Atlanta.

Upon some research, it is a 1962 VW Bus, and was featured on Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It was the episode when he went out with fellow Seinfeld actor, and good friend Michael Richards (Kramer). As for why it says Porsche Service on the side, is because it was used as a service truck for a VW-Porsche repair shop that was in Campbell. It also has an estimated value of a whopping $14,000 USD. Interesting find.

Well on the bottom of Porsche, it says "service." Maybe that could be a clue to something?

Hmm, pretty strange, I know that VW owned and still owns Porsche, but is there a reason for that?

By the way, I like how it has the CA Historical Vehicle plates because more and more of these classics are getting them.

Thanks Geoff! I noticed you also spotted this Ferrari as well, but I don't know what the year is.
