Description This spot was at the restaurant called Atlanta Fish Market off of Pharr road. I can do without the wheels and the large red horse I think lol.
@Horse-power you are right, this is totally Julio Jones. I never realized it until you said it. His house is down the street from mine and he hangs out with my neighbor a lot. His daily driver is a Dodge Challenger white with blue racing stripes and giant white rims with the name "Jones" written on the rim lip.
@H-P, Another version: A famous painter (canvases not houses) in D.C. was known to have said that "There is no such thing as bad publicity". It worked for him. Edit: Just remembered, he had a new XKE 4.2 roadster, white/black/black. How appropriate.
If you think his car is ugly and bright yall should see his house. He lives in Buford in a big white mansion with a red clay tile roof. The guy is a young guy maybe in his 20s.
I always think about the old Hollywood saying that bad publicity can be just as good as positive press. So thanks guys for keeping all of us entertained lol.
Cavalino Rampante, never heard of that! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who uses Google from time to time to appear brighter, although it's my fond belief that using ones resources to look bright is a rather bright idea; The internet has forced my thesaurus and old Playboys to the back of the closet like Christianity does to homosexuals. HP seems to be one of the nicest people on this site, I do appreciate him tolerating our candor (another Google thesaurus save!).
@ H-P. Had to look that one up. Very glad you enjoy our rants, as it's on your dime, so to speak. Best as I can figure, the more activity (+/-) one's photos generate the more ratings are generated as well. Bravo on you.
Love the photo, West. I do like the car even though it's all wrong for me. Great profile & ambiance. Worthless anecdote: I know it isn't, but the cavallino rampante (pronounced 'rampanties') looks very much like the Mobil logo. Color & posture very close, needs wings to cause real confusion. @ Ointy: Dj has a great idea. You could write a column for ES, call it 'The G Spot'. You're extremely welcome. Given my SQ, I go to Google & visit Mr. Webster several times a day whilst writing, or tapping, just trying to get it right. I like to appear brighter than I really am. It's good to feel frisky, or crispy but your spontaneous throw-away, off-hand, hand-me-down remarks always satisfy. Extra effort duly noted, but unnecessary.
@Ep: A number one, thank you! B number two, Google showed me that your compliment was quite an incredible one (not savy when it comes to painters). C number three, I'm feeling frisky this evening, so in your honor, I will attempt to do whisk up some whopper tidbits. D number... something, I love your taste in shoes.
@ Oint-nt-nt-nt. George. I can recognize some spotters' photos, like West's consistently wonderful work, but I surely enjoy spotting your writing, too. You are the Ivan Albright of ES (& who knows of what else?) with a pen instead of a brush. Amazing & unique profile. Write some more, please. @ lukaku. I agree 100%. Wonderful spot, and what's better than having fun? I can't afford these cars, but I'll buy any pair of shoes that fit & make me laugh.
