Description Found this 458 Italia parked in a parking garage uptown (near Chyma). I think that's a Land Rover Autobiography Edition next to it, which are extremely rare themselves, and there was also an Aston Marin V8 Vantage there. I would have gotten better shots of it, but...I couldn't find a way in (there is a transparent garage door to keep people like me out). What do you think: good shot, or is it too far away?
Parker - Haha, that's what I thought you meant. But it never hurt anybody to be sure...
Sumosloths - Thanks! I hate it when that happens! It's like me trying to find the only MP4-12C in Raleigh! And lol I've got a lot more where they came from!
Oh okay maybe so, we need to get dates together and meet up and find all these places to spot.
In birkdale on Friday and Saturday nights you'll usually be cursed at for taking pictures of the cars there EVERY TIME. They are younger though and like to mess around. But they have had some legal problems with the valet people before. Ive seen it a few times.
And In SputhPark about last April a valet rear ended a Panamera in a Lexus LS600h long wheelbase!
Lol really? When the guy started yelling at me I walked off, then saw he was yelling at other people who walked past as well, so I figured I hadn't done anything wrong except somehow mess with his head.
So anyway, I walked around uptown a bit more. I walked past 3rd St. again and saw that he was still standing there, so I walked past. Found a nice Jaguar F Type V8 S sitting in a parking lot and took a few pictures of it, the walked over to the corner of 3rd St and Tryon St, where Chyma Restaurant is (Chyma is indirectly across the street from the drunk guy). I asked one of the valet guys "is that drunk guy still over there?" The valet guy was like "DUDE, that guy is so f***in' jacked and yells at anyone who looks at him. It is SO FREAKING ANNOYING. He's over at the intersection now." I looked over and saw him standing next to a couple waiting for the light to change. They were talking to each other when he stuck his head between them and almost fell over. Then he started yelling at me again, so I scooted down 3rd St and ducked into an alley where he couldn't see me but I had a decent view of the Ferrari and Aston, and started taking pics.
The other interesting thing that happened was wheb I was taking pics of the F Type, and a valet was trying to park a manual Nissan Altima and almost ran into the F Type. A guy on a rickshaw was riding through the parking lot for some reason, and was like "that dude's got confidence!" I was like "what?" and the rickshaw guy was like "totally! That guy has confidence to back up that Nissan and not run into the Maserati that you are taking pictures of."
Haha WTF!!! I also have had an experience like that but the guy i saw actually started chasing me! Luckily im pretty fast on my feet and avoided him from catching up!
Parker - Unfortunately, there is a car parked to the right of where I was, so I can't see the plate. Also, I'm pretty sure this is a different garage; this one was uptown on (I think 3rd St) whereas the one you saw the Ghost and Cali was over at South Park, if I recall correctly ; )
Dustin - Thanks man. You've seen a white 458 over at South Park as well?
Patrick - Thanks!
Flaco - Haha, yeah. There are always expensive cars in here (I've seen this 458 there a couple of times, as well as an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and a ton of Porsche's and Mercedes') so I guess they don't want snoopers in there. Also, my camera's zoom function leaves something to be desired, so some of the shots are screwed lol. Funny story though; I walked past the front of the garage and start looking through the garage door when I hear someone yelling at me. I could't tell what he was saying (other than it sounded like "Boy! F*** off!") and I whirled around to see this drunk guy come stumbling out of another parking garage across the street.
