Nice find! Have you checked the houses beside this course? Massive homes all around there. The one at Doulton and Blythe is one of the top 3 largest in square foot space in Canada. Getting a spot at that house would be amazing.

I just like having an external site where you don't need to have an Instagram (don't have one), a Facebook (don't have one), a YouTube channel (have one, not about spotting cars though), Flickr (don't have one), or Twitter (have one, again not about cars).

It's just nice to just get online and go to a site to just see cars, not anything else (but what's with the acceptance of the Polaris Slingshots?).

Also just noticed what appears to be a classic Stingray convertible in the background on the right.

That's sucks to hear about the 599 man so ridiculous but glad you voiced it out as well I hope this thread gets recognition regarding the issues at hand it's a long shot that this alone would expedite the changes needed but at least it can regain traction on the topic best wishes to you guys and happy spotting going forward my fall back maybe just making an Instagram account to post on I'll keep you guys updated!

Great chat you guys, that's exactly how I feel.

Particularly, I posted a decent photo of a 599 SA Aperta, and it only has 16 likes and 2 favorites. It was unfeatured within about 2 hours of posting it. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I never saw this site in its 'heyday,' so I can't give my input with respect to another era of this site.

I just hope the overhaul happens soon. I'll still post and be active on here regardless though, just because I enjoy it.

I'll let you know for sure if I ever bring something like that online. Now's a good time to do it because everyone's so fed up with ES and AG, but it's not a good time for me right now, unfortunately.

Ahhh man that site sounded ideal, really what this site used to be also. If you ever got a site up and running I'd be 100% on board!! Until then I guess its a test of patience here my friend

There used to be a great site called ChasingExotics.com that West, AJ Ferrari, TYI, and a handful of other users including myself posted on. It was more of a forum setup but there was no "featured" page or worry over your spottings getting removed. There was a friendly Spot Of The Week competition that we all participated in, but there was no drama and everyone got along very well. Unfortunately, there weren't many active users, and the site owner Doug DeMuro had moved on from car spotting so he didn't renew the domain. I heard that one of the former users there bought the rights to the site but he has not responded to any of my pms and hasn't brought the site back online.

I've always had a thought of starting my own site, but I don't feel like funding everything right now because I don't currently have a job to buy the domain and storage space to get a site like that set up. Maybe someday though.

Very well put and I hear you about being selective. Funny you mention West I was scrolling through some of his spots earlier, agreed it sucks that he left he woudl always take time to leave comments lead good discussions, another one was Benjy (Bensterr) I can't fault them for leaving the site is losing momentum fast.

I posted a clean red GT4 the other day and it got unfeatured so quick it wasn't even funny yet on the feature page there were some grainy shots of GT3's (which IMO are somewhat more common than GT4's) that stayed featured. I literally have a archive of shots sitting on my Google Drive that I was going to post gradually but looking at the way things are going it is very doubtful I will be posting them. The whole purpose of this site originally was to post exotics spotted in their element and using the element of surprise now it seems to be a competition of who has the best camera and tripod at the right time LOL its called "Exotic Spotter" not "Exotic Professional Photography" or to say the least "autogespot"

Agreed. I remember one of my first decent shots I posted on here was a white Ferrari California....my mom was shopping at the grocery store, and I was walking around outside. Saw it roar past on the main road, but fortunately it got caught at a nearby red light, so I ran on foot to catch it and snap some pics. Even though I was not into editing at the time and didn't to anything to the pic, it got about 40 likes within a day or so. Now whenever I post a California or something similar, it MAYBE gets 20 likes and is usually unfeatured (even though I'm pretty picky about what I post). I'm holding out hope that the update (which has seemingly been promised for years now) will help restore the site, but if things keep going like this I might leave as well.

ES has also lost so many great spotters that it's just not as fun on here anymore. I feel like the site lost a ton of momentum when West quit (due to frustrations regarding the featuring system). He was a great spotter and also spent a good bit of time looking at and commenting on other users' uploads.

Thanks buddy, I honestly didn't crop or even edit the shot left it raw. This isht is getting out of hand, the random features vs posts that should be featured but aren't. ES isn't like what it used to be good shots barely get anything past 20 likes IF THAT, and when you flag it all you get is the promise of an ES overhaul... I am nearing my end here to be honest, but I truly appreciate your feedback bud

Maybe cropped a bit too tightly? I would have left it on the featured page for sure though. I enjoy ES but the whole featuring system is pretty screwed up right now.
