Description Unicorn Alert! What looks like a ''regular'' 550 Barchetta is in fact a 550 Straman Spider. Straman was a well-known convertible conversion company back in the 70s and 80s but they struggled a lot in the 90s. Their last project was the 550 and only 2 were made. This particular one was believed to have been destroyed and its been lost for 15 years! This is probably the rarest car I have ever seen parked in the street!
Great stuff! Too bad it wasn't featured. Should have received more attention here. It sounds like the other owner in Florida doesn't have any structural problems with theirs. Such a unique car! I think my favourite from Straman is the light blue 456 targa.
@Cross no I didn't talk to the owner, but I searched myself on the internet that night and I tied everything up. The car was parked in front of an hotel downtown that belongs to one of the founders of Guess. The guy is the original owner of the car and every other Ferrari you can see in front of the place belong to him. This is the first time I see this one though and I had no idea he had it!
