Ferrari 550 spotted in San Diego, California

Details on This Ferrari 550:

  • Location
    San Diego, California
  • Description
Nice 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello with the plate MRNELLO. Surprisingly, I don't see a lot of these, or older Ferrari's in general, so seeing one of these is always a special treat. I think the shot came out good considering it was taken on my old point-and-shoot camera. I personally like these despite how underappreciated these are. Do you like these? What do you think about my edit? Camera: Nikon Coolpix S3600

Actually I think the 550 is pretty well-appreciated overall, but sadly not a lot of people on here seem to like it that much. 550 prices were pretty reasonable for a little while, but they've shot up recently. The cheapest one on Cars.com has almost 50,000 miles (big thumbs up to its owner!) and is still $115k.

@Mazdafreak I agree with you mostly. I would take the F40 in red (obviously), a 275 GTB/2 in yellow, and a 550 in any color really. Wish more people appreciated rhe 550 :/

If I could have any three Ferraris, I think I would take an F40 in red, an F430 in black (with a gated manual), and a 550 in blue (although really, any color looks good on the 550 lol).

Awesome find! The 550 is one of my all-time favorite Ferraris, and I think it's one of the most beautiful cars ever. The chrome wheels are a little tacky though.
