There is another option/violation here potentially - the car is not completely inside the lines or boundaries of the space - both the wheels are outside and the rear of the 599 is also across the back line into the next space. They can also catch you for this violation in London (if they want to). There is also a rule about the maximum distance from the curb.
There is a parking meter to the right of the 599 (see the second photo in the series). In London, you basically pay for the time required and place the ticket you receive from the machine on the dash. If it expires (or you forget to get a ticket) then you will be hit with a violation - in this case - clamped !!
Keep in mind that if you get clamped in Kensington and Chelsea you must travel to the Lots Rd impound to pay your fines before you can return to the vehicle to have the clamp removed - this can take time and be a real hassle .....
