Same here, I never drive into DC itself because the area I usually spot in (Tyson's) is about 15 miles away so I understand the efforts that go into spotting, sometimes I'll be out for 2-3 hours just to catch one or two nice exotics which may sound like a lot of work for not much but as you know, the one time you don't go could be the time you wish you went
I appreciate you taking the time to tell me Joe. It really makes your spots that much more special. I have a great area to spot cars as you know but saying that I do put in the time and gas on a regular basis to be successful.
In all honesty West, almost none of the hotels and restaurants in the area have a valet section and most are in tiny city like areas which is why I do so much of my spotting in garages and parking lots because valets are next to nonexistent in my area. Even the Four Seasons hotel in DC has a next to nothing area for exotics to be parked outside of, garages are just the way of life here. Most areas and buildings were designed for 40 years ago and our rate of population growth is so crazy and land so expensive, a valet section is almost always out of the question so you just have to drive around the known areas and hope you get lucky. Sorry for the short story haha
