Congrats on your good fortune, Luke. She stopped at the perfect place. Your perseverance paid of, eh? Just desserts. As I read your comment for the 3rd or 4th time, I thought that some of this info would have made for a very interesting 'Description'. I realize that these picture making events are seldom so interesting. But I'd look forward to more descriptions of cool events. I haven't had many myself. Your comment placed me in your situation. I appreciate the photo more than just seeing the result. Very well taken, and very well written. Thanks, Luke. Oh, And props to the driver. Good Gal.
Cheers Fasteppy!! It was actually good timing for me. I was walking along the Main Street and I heard this beautiful Italian exhaust note in the background. I caught a glimpse of the Cali as the owner floored it round a corner into a large street. At that moment, I thought I wouldn't find it. Even though I had the thought that I wouldn't find it, I continued to search until I caught it parked in a small Asian Food Market street. Owner was an Indian Female who was very nice.
Originally she didn't put the roof down, but as I was taking photos of it parked, she had offered kindly to put the roof down, so I could get some photos of it transforming. She took off rather quickly to show what the California really can do! Luckily I got shots of it parked, because if I caught it while she was driving, then I would have had no chance of catching a few shots!! She just drove too fast haha!
Love this picture, Luke. Love the strong but limited colors, the organic car vs. the geometric background, &, of course, the transforming. I thought other day I thought about how few female drivers of exotics get posted. Great photo & timing, Luke.
