Ferrari California spotted in Charlotte, North Carolina

Details on This Ferrari California:

  • Location
    Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Description
This was one of the first exotics I saw at Phillips Place, a red California at the Palm Restaurant. A Bentley Mulsanne also showed up there later, but I wasn't a good photographer back then and didn't get a good combo. I'm actually pretty pleased how well this looks here on ES.

What difference does it make when you're dropping $250,000 on a car though? Haha

I agree Nick. Those shields are a very expensive garment though lol.

Nick how do you feel about a Ferrari with no shields? She looks good with the red calipers.

It also helps massively if the weather is decent, although rain isn't a total killer (I once saw a California and a Phantom Drophead in Southpark within about a mile in the pouring rain).

Haha don't worry Harrison, it's taken me several years to figure out the best times and places to spot cars. Usually I go to the Southpark area on Saturday evenings at about 5:30 or 6:00, and walk around for as long as my mom shops in Whole Foods lol. It really depends on luck, but most of my spottings have been from either the mall or Phillips Place, usually on the weekends. I've walked around in uptown Charlotte a few times as well, and generally see 10 or so exotics on a normal Friday or Saturday night, but have had a couple of slightly terrifying experiences with other people. It's always worth a drive past the Epicenter though, as I've seen a couple of Bentleys, Maseratis, and Lamborghinis there. I'd recommend going to Southpark on either a Friday night or Saturday, and checking out the valet at the mall, and the restaurants at Phillips Place.

I'm gonna sound stupid but I need to see some more exotics, so where do you guys think is the best place to find exotics in Charlotte.

Thanks Chris! It was getting dark when I saw this, so most of the pics I took were too blurry or noisy to post, but I thought this one was acceptable to post. I only wish I was a better photographer when I saw it, but it's a local car and apparently is a regular at the restaurant, so I'm sure I'll see it again sometime.

Normally I really dislike this car, but something about this shot does it for me. I think it's a mix of the car's profile with the strong red color and the darker lighting, but I'm really drawn to it here. Nice work.

Yeah the wheels seem somewhat basic overall a clean car

Thanks Parker! I'm not a huge fan of the wheels, but the color was nice.
