Yeah, little cousins do a lot of following. You ought to bring her along to all of your shoots. Thought I was just joking, but that would be a very cool project: Make sure your cousin is in every photo you take. Think how different your photo is from EVERY OTHER photo!! Take her spotting, and everything else. I don't know that that's been done? If you don't do it, I'm gonna do it. I'm just gonna have to find a lil cousin. Don't let her forget her bicycle.

I gotta ask, Graham, is this an edit or a weather event? It doesn't really matter, because this is a great, wonderful photo. I'd guess, because of the stillness & some stuff in the sky, it's an edit. So What. But I want to believe it's the weather. Good composition & car posture, but the thing that makes the Whole photo for me is the girl on the bicycle. Did you stage her? Was she an accidental participant? She's just perfect, also provides the possible narrative component. You could be getting close to Fine Art, so be careful here, let's not have more of this. Have you looked up photographers who stage & direct their photographs, making pictorial fiction? Could be a game changer for you.
