@Mercedes 280 SLC: They say that, on the used market, 355 F1's are to be avoided like the plague because their transmissions, which were the first automated manuals on the market for production cars, were/are so problematic that they're absolute nightmares to own and are constantly in for repairs.

An acquaintance of mine has a '98 F355 Spider. He was originally looking for an F1, but after talking with many Ferrari experts and mechanics, he was advised against it and ended up going with a real manual (thank God!).
