That's awesome! I got to drive a Scud earlier this year, I really need a Ferrari now, lol. That is good to know about the MV LaF, any idea if it's still there? Also didn't Bob sell his?
This isn't bob, but has had a couple yellow cars. This guy let me drive his 360 about 15 years ago and blew my mind that he would offer. I believe the Maggie Valley LaFerrari was a second one for nc. There's a lot of big money from Florida that spends part of the year in the NC mountains (Asheville, MV, Cashiers, Highlands, etc.) and Bob's was in GSO for the time he had it. Bob hasn't had a collection since the nineties I think. He had a 917 just before the Enzo, then would generally just have one new car at a time since then. What a shame - sold his Enzo for very, very little money for both the time and especially for what it's worth now.
I've heard it's registered in Maggie Valley but that the owner lives closer to Greensboro (unless there are somehow two red LaFerraris in NC, which I would find hard to believe). I think user 'SebastianJ' knows a bit more about its whereabouts than I do so you might try chatting with him. Here is one of his pics if you want to leave a comment:
So there is officially a LaFerrari registered in Greensboro? i've heard rumors of him driving to cars & Coffee and then leaving afterwards, i definitely have to make it my mission to spot the LAF that i visited everyday at the dealership out in the wild.
I think he sold most of his cars to get the very first Enzo ever produced in 2002 (or whenever they started building them). Then he sold it two years later and got a couple of F430s.
I know he's in his 90s now but I couldn't tell on here. Although now that I think about it, I remember seeing a picture of him before and he didn't look like that.
