yeah i would choose the new one too. i watched a top gear on the new one and the guy was saying how all the other countrys make fun of america because we cant make a supercar. then he went on to say that it was the best looking super car out there. lol. Yeah the older ones look really cool, ive only seen them in showrooms and indoor auto shows so i cannot post them because they wont count but ive seen a few old ones, and im dying to see a new one.
@Exoticsont I like them both a lot! The 2005 GT is great looking and pays homage to the 60s GT40 race car that beat Ferrari! The new GT is also very good looking and can take on top of the line Ferraris, maybe it can even race a LaFerrari. If I had to choose though, I would go with the new one because it looks so amazing and is a bit more modern. While I do love classics, the 2005 model just looks like the GT40, but isn’t really that similar (I kind of just see it as a wannabe GT40, but its probably more than that and I’m not giving it the credit it deserves, I still think its a great car though!). I would however, choose a classic GT40 over the new GT any day of the week because it is a staple of automotive history and is the inspiration for the GT line!
@blakeyr Wow I’m the complete opposite! I saw two new Ford Gt’s one in Miami Beach on ocean drive which was owned by Shmee150 http://www.exoticspotter.com/ford-gt-miami-florida-264376 And another casually parked outside a restaurant in Beverly Hills http://www.exoticspotter.com/ferrari-monza-sp2-beverly-hills-california-268837 I did see one old Ford gt drive by outside of the window of the place I was staying at in Solana Beach/Del Mar CA (Another great place for spotting, similar to Vegas) but I didn’t get a picture so I don’t count it.
