    Spotted this Ford GT40 Mark 2 Superperformance at L'Escale. Owner also has a 918, LaFerrari and 8C which leads me to believe this is real.

No, of course it's not "real" or an original FGT. Superformance builds these cars completely finished sans engines and transmissions. Made to exacting orig. specs. They are considered "continuation" cars. Superformance makes the best FGT and Cobra kits available.
