2015 Corvette Z06 not available until 2015?!?!

I know some cars take a few months after unveiling to start production, but why is the Corvette taking so long? Its says it on chevrolet.com

Well, the C6 Z06 came out a bit after the standard one too, right?

I mean it was unveiled yesterdya, but production isn't starting until 1st quarter of 2015.
