Aston Martin Ends Production Cygnet City Car

British car maker Aston Martin has ended the production of their city car, the Cygnet. The model based on the Toyota iQ was announced in 2010 and started production a year later.

With the production coming to a halt in 2013, it means that the Cygnet is the ultimately legitimate title holder with respect to the length of the production time slot. We believe it has been the shortest in the history of Aston Martin.

According to the spokesperson at Aston Martin, dealers still have stock available across the world. So if you are interested in a Cygnet, please visit your local dealership and get yourself this overpriced city car.

I thought the Virage was produced for less time. They only built just over 1,000 of those over 18 months.

I couldn't be happier. I wonder how many of these things they ended up making.
