Being that there was a best car you sat in thread, I'm curious to know what's the best car you guys have driven so far, if you can't drive then best car you took a ride in.
Mine is 458 Italia at the moment, the looks and thumbs up along with multiple women trying to start a convo was only 10% of the sheer enjoyment the car gave on the road. The sound, the handling, the atmosphere around you while driving is just breath-taking.
The best cars I've driven are an E92 M3, 348 TS, and GranTurismo S. I've gotten rides in a Auburn 852, new Ghibli, new Quattroporte, GranTurismo S and Convertible, BMW M4 and a Fisker Karma.
The best cars I have driven are 2 Ferrari 328s, 308, Aston Martin DB AR1, E30 M3, E92 M3, 2 GranTurismos, 190SL, 1937 Packard, 1946 Cadillac, and a couple 450 SLs. I didn't like the DB AR1 or the 190 SL and I thought the E30 was kind of boring. All the others are good in their own ways.
It's getting harder and harder to make that decision. However, I have to say for day to day driving pleasure I give that distinction to the Bentley Continental GT S Convertible. For the sheer celebrity of it all, the Rolls Royce Wraith. And for the days when I want to be seen... the BMW i8 (I've never had my photo taken in a car so many times).
Nothing too fancy, unfortunately. Probably the best driving car I've driven was my late uncle's 1999 BMW 540i, which was equipped with the six speed manual. Possibly also a 1999 Camaro Z/28 Coupe (six speed manual as well) but it can get dangerous to drive when approaching the limits.
My BMW E46 M3, drives great but the SMG transmission is like a child, sometimes you love it to death and sometimes you wish you would've opted for an abortion.
Dad's Porsche 997 4S, 6 speed manual = way funner to drive.
Test drove a Maserati Gran Turismo S, pretty decent, more comfortable than both our cars but I still prefer the driving experience of a stick.
