Yup, I'm posting this quite early, but who's planning on going next year? Just booked my airbnb today and am roadtripping out there with some friends (Matt Groner) next year. Our first year so we were looking for some tips on what to do each day. Gonna be there from the 12th to the 20th! Cannot wait, only another 8 months to go lol.

I really want to go but I'm not in a financial position that's gonna allow me to fly or drive out there, let alone stay in a hotel or buy tickets to shows.

I'm probably going there on Aug 19-20, gonna rent a car at San Jose Airport and drive all the way to Monterey area.
I have at least one (summer term) exam on Aug 17 or 18th, life sucks.

I'm so lucky I live so close, like I usually don't even figure out which days I'm going until a few weeks before.

That's quite a long drive lol. I took the train out last year, though that was only slightly shorter at 2 days haha

Yeah haha we could make it shorter if we wanted, but we figured we might as well make a fun road trip out of it. Were stopping in Denver and Las Vegas, two places none of us have ever been and we can stay free at each place.
On the way back were going to zion national park so i'm quite excited.
Too bad it's a little under 8 months away haha
