I just don't believe these cars share the qualities of the true exotics that grace this site. Just because they have a performance badge (like RS, M or AMG) doesn't put them in the same class worthy of being on here. They may be cool (I would kill for an RS4), but there's a threshold for an exotic car and I don't feel that those cars meet that.

Well the M3 needs a category... all the other M cars have them

True, but they are also more powerful and expensive. Even at that, a lot of members are starting to avoid the M categories as they are becoming too mundane in the sense that no one really wants to see cars like that here anymore.

Performance isn't the sole factor in whether or not a car is exotic. You have to take into account availability, looks, etc. M cars are all over and only look marginally better than their base counterparts.

None of those categories are exotic and some of them have been removed in the past. We don't need trash on the site.

I think they should make a RUF category because they are without a doubt exotic, extremely rare and expensive. I feel like they are becoming lost in the Porsche category and deserve their own.

I have to agree with W16.

BMW M3, Lexus IS-F, and Audi RS4 will only cause trouble, especially the M3 and IS-F.

Panamera category was removed in the past and there is no need to bring it back even under Panamera Turbo.

Cadillac XLR-V will never have a category. Many don't see it as an exotic. The CTS-V is same case.

760Li doesn't need one either.

AMGs are a hit or miss. I only think the most powerful AMGs deserve a category (SL AMG, SLS AMG, S63/65 AMG).

The only one I feel that should come back is the GT500.
And they should add the Audi RS6.
