Well it comes down to what some define as Exotic, from this thread I note.

Availability : As is in La Ferrari, when you need a invite, or waiting list?

Looks : Is this not personal opinion? Some may think the BMW 840 or Maserati 4200 is the best looking car in the world, but really exotic.

What about Price, Heritage, Production numbers, is it a top end luxury or sport car, is it desirable, will it be a future classic, can it hold its own with other Exotics?
Why does a 1M make this list but a V8S F-type does not? Is a 1M better looking and less available, more expensive? No it comes from a range of cars that cost a 1/3 of the Jag, same with the M5 the 5 series is not a Exotic model, same goes for 3 series, and most AMG's and Audi S models including the RS.

Lot of people seem to be upset of the F Type, what about when Jaguar F-Type R-S comes out is very rare and expensive and will have more power than any 911, will people say it won't deserve a section due to people may upload the V6 by mistake? Makes you wonder why there is a 911 section when it the most mass produced sports car has a section, not seen Turbo's and GT's put in the wrong place.

TechArt and Mansory, RUF and a dozen other tuners should be put under relevant sections, like under a GT2. It would be ridiculous to have a section for every tuner, you could add Onyx, Hamman, Gemballa, Oakley, Schnitzer, Carlsson, Brabus and on and on......Why should Masonry the purveyor of disgusting cars make the list but not Brabus?

Then you could get into small builders. Why have KTM got a page but not BAC, Caterham, Ultima page?

The exception to the tuners is RUF since it is considered its own automaker in Germany.

How about Alpina, Brabus or Singer?

So why not also BAC, Caterham, Ultima if there is a KTM page?

None of those categories are exotic and some of them have been removed in the past. We don't need trash on the site.

I think that all ///AMG, //M (excluding the M3), and //RS models are exotic. That's easy for you to say they are trash because you live in an extremely wealthy neighborhood where these sites are very common, whereas in Fairfield and Westchester County, they are very uncommon even though they are again very wealthy counties

I disagree. I don't live in an extremely wealthy part of town and tend not to be in the wealthiest part of town for much of my time, yet I still see all kinds of Ms and AMGs (no //) daily.

Nope, it is rare for me to see Ms and AMGs. (I do the backslash because that's how the badges are written, and it looks cool)

Alpina, Brabus, and Singer are still label as tuners. RUFs are built on unmarked Porsche chassis where as the others are built on existing cars.

Can't give a straight answer on BAC, Caterham, & Ultima.

Those old SL 70 and SL 73 AMG's would be on this site and featured without any questions. You just basically can't find those anywhere. Never seen one myself and never even heard of anyone seeing one. And the 7.0-7.3 V12's were later used in the Pagani Zonda...

Alpina are classed in the same bracket as RUF, problem with RUF's they are so rare, don't have any idea of production numbers, or if they are built to order.

Singer use base old 911's but I would say similar process to RUF from chasis up everything is new, but maybe with the cost and rarity they could be exotic. But then again so could a Eagle Speedster.

Brabus maybe should be as they are maybe more exclusive than AMG and hold many records.

BAC, Caterham, & Ultima are hard as they also are very limited runs, maybe more track day cars than "exotic" but then again the KTM is listed, and I am unsure what this has over these others.
