Which do you guys prefer? This is a rather interesting topic, I feel. I'm sure you all know that I like a good mix, although my true passion is for the more classic and vintage side of things.

I like things starting about the 1920s and then ending around the 50s. Any luxury car from that period appeals to me massively. Modern exotics are really a hit or miss for me.

You may have a point there, although I would still just love to go back in time and live where everything just felt better. I like so much about that period of time more.

Yes, it will be that I feel older cars look better, and then I'll say that the performance doesn't really matter.

But performance does matter. Why do you think theyre called sports cars, hyper cars, and super cars.

I'd love to go back to the 1920s, right around 1928 and in New York. Except I'd have to be rich though, the Great Depression would be a killer if I wasn't.

To me it doesn't matter as much when comparing old vs. new. Because many vintage cars (i.e. Duesenberg) were the super and hyper cars of their day.

how can you not think the 458 is elegant. It has smooth flowing lines and is beautiful. Older cars look like theyre welded together from all those little silver knicknacks you find at grandparents houses

That is a very twisted statement about older cars, as the older cars have a build quality these new ones never will. I can't really say a 458 is elegant, especially with that shouty engine note and the gaudy headlights. Now, a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith or Phantom II Brewster Special Town Car are both very elegant.

Those headlights are amazing. And the 458s engine note is probably the best in the world, second only to the GranTurismo
