That crashed F50 was bought by some German guy, but an unknown bidder in Texas almost won it. Who thinks it was Gas Monkey Garage? They did a great job on that F40 btw.

If it was bought by a German guy, i dont think it really makes a difference who it was that bid on it and lost.

I'm just curious who the other bidder was, this post is only for fun because I'm curious.

I have a good feeling it was Gas Monkey. Although, there is this one Ferrari owner in Dallas who has a relatively small but very good collection of black Ferrari's so it could have been him. I have a really small feeling it could have been the owner of the other black F50 who has a house in Houston and for whatever reason wanted another one.

Be nice to see it repaired, I know someone who bidded on it, the guy near me with the mc12, 288, lp5000 and others, said his maximum was 250k, I was in his collection today with one of his friends, the friend told me he is getting a laferrari and is currently in marenello getting an exclusive test drive! Been promised a photoshoot with a countach too :D

Yeah, I've got some better photos of it coming up though as I know its getting a service soon, which means I'll be seeing it on the street, was in his collection yesterday, but the lighting in his garage is Terrible, in photos the cars come out pink, can't wait to get some shots in decent light :)
