Was at a car show this past weekend...

1) Heard a teenager call an LC 500 an LFA and he and his friends went over and took a bunch of photos. Owner looked quite surprised lol.

2) Someone called a Huayra a Zonda.

3) The mother of a presumably 7-or 8-year old said an Aston Martin VIrage was a six cylinder.

4) A guy said that carbon fiber was 'the material of choice' for all supercars...but then said that the Flying Spur that was nearby was also made of it.

I'm sure there were other good quotes but I can't remember the other ones.

Although can you imagine the performance of a Bentley if it was made from lighter materials? God that'd be insanely fast.

How could they not mistake them for Lotuses (Loti)?

When I started car spotting 3 years ago I mistook them for Lotuses (Loti). Also, which is correct, Lotuses or Loti, Lexuses or Lexi, Mercedeses, Mercedes (plural) or Mercedi, etc...

Lotus's, Lexus's, and just shorten it to Mercs.

Although not grammatically correct, that does sound the best.

I've heard way too many to recall. A lady said a 458 Spyder costs about $90,000.

Amother lady called an Aston Martin a Porsche.

A husband tried impressing his wife with his knowledge saying a Bentley does 0 to 60 in 3 seconds. Another one said his GTI was faster than a Bugatti if they drag raced.

And the typical person calling a Lamborghini a Ferrari

Oh and on one of DoctaM3's videos I heard a lady call an aventador a DeLorean
