Yes they did. They were not for ricers only. Some tuners will also need bodykits and wings to improve performance.

- One guy in a car forum I'm a part of called a Porsche 991 GT2 RS an Aston Martin DB11.
- Someone told me that a Lamborghini Aventador had a same performance as a Honda Wave scooter.
- Someone called a McLaren 12C GT Gran Am a McLaren 650S GT3.
- Someone called a Lamborghini Huracan Performante a Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce just because "it had a spoiler of the Aventador SV" (immediately facepalmed when I saw this)
- Someone called a Techart Porsche 991 Carrera S a Porsche 991 GT3 just because it had a small spoiler.
- And finally... someone called a Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 an Isuzu Panther MPV.

Do you agree with mass executions of the stupid? One does not simply mistake a Diablo with an MPV.

Yes but the guy really said: "Isuzu Panther mbah?"

It's the Javanese translation for this sentence: "Isuzu Panther bro?"

I saw a video of a model describing the new Kia Telluride as a "sleek roadster car" while it is in fact a boxy full-size SUV.

Recently also had seen people in Indonesia who called Chevrolet Corvettes as China's 'Wuling' brand, just because 'Corvette had similar logo as Wuling'.

Despite they were similar and in fact Wuling is owned by GM, they were not the same.
