What is that rendering based on? I don't remember Ferrari showing a teaser or something, so I wouldn't worry too much about the final thing looking a lot like that.
That rendering is honestly the most unthoughtout and lazy rendering I have seen. They have gotten a McLaren MP4 basically and turned it into a Ferrari using Photoshop. I just got photoshop for Christmas and will start to try to learn how to do renderings. My first goal will be to make a better render than that.
Anyways, the 458 is due for a replacement soon. I was hoping for an entirely new model.
It's called the 488 GTB and it's extremely ugly :\
At least they didn't f*ck up the name like they did with the LaFerrari. But I agree, this is literally the same car with more power. I was really hoping for something amazing. Thanks Fiat

Why were you expecting anything more than a facelifted 458, when it has been known for ages that the 458 replacement is going to be a facelifted and turbo'd 458?

The GTB has never been solely for V12 cars in Ferrari's nomenclature.

They surprised us with a hybrid hypercar so they can surely surprise us with something better than a 458

308 GTB, 328 GTB, 348 GTB are all V8's.
