I wasn't a fan of the original. The new Spano looks worse.
Not sure why but it makes me think of Mansory..

Is it just me, or have Volkswagen brands been mimicking Aston Martin a bit in their new designs. Just look at the Bentley EXP10 and the Volkswagen Sport Coupe GTE Concept.

I see it a lot in the EXP10 but not really in the VW. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

Mansory was the first thing that came to my mind. I like the older one better. Though I do like the back; somehow the taillights remind me of an HSV.

No, it isn't, but it is slightly annoying. I just see a good amount of Rapide in the flanks and back of the VW.
