I disagree to that. A Bugatti Veyron is a much better car. The Veyron has no Lotus resemblance whatsoever for a start, and it also is worth the money on the price tag in my opinion. It combines luxury and power, which the Venom does not. Although powerful, the Veyron would still hold that record if it also had uncomfortable bucket seats (yes, the UNCOMFORTABLE racing kind it does not have) like the Venom and far less luxuriousness e.g. No leather. The Veyron held that record for a reason- it was the fastest, most luxurious hypercar. When Hennessy came along with those Lotus lookalikes, it was bad for us all. Did anyone actually by any?

The Veyron still is the fastest car in the world. I don't care if the version they tested was slightly different, and the only reason it was is because they wanted to keep the owners safe. Now, why would you take away the record they rightfully deserve because they're trying to keep the owners safe? I sense that something happened under the table between John Hennessey and Guinness. The Venom GT is just an example of a lot of horsepower and little weight combined. There is no engineering exemplary here, unlike the Veyron. The Venom has no luxury, unlike the Veyron. It has no refinement, unlike the Veyron.

Well luxury is better than sitting in a seat with no padding and about 5 different belt straps...

Luxury is highly important to me. Tuners can still keep the luxury in cars, for instance the Brabus Maybach.

Im just saying. Luxury isnt everything. You guys are just mad cuz bugatti has got it stuck in your head that they are the best. just because they made a fast car. Bugatti is nothing but a bunch of stuck up, crybabies. They think just beacuse FINALLY something is out there that can smoke one of their cars, that they have to be on top. ALWAYS. It still isn't as fast as the Veyron though, officially. The Venom still has to go 2 MPH faster to at least tie the Bugatti. The Veyron costs so much money to build and make because they have made sure that it is the best possible car it can be. Stable at high speeds, comfortable at those speeds as well, and as technologically advanced as it can be to make sure that the occupants are not being put into harm's way too much as they speed down the track.
