The Veyron still is the fastest car in the world. I don't care if the version they tested was slightly different, and the only reason it was is because they wanted to keep the owners safe. Now, why would you take away the record they rightfully deserve because they're trying to keep the owners safe? I sense that something happened under the table between John Hennessey and Guinness. The Venom GT is just an example of a lot of horsepower and little weight combined. There is no engineering exemplary here, unlike the Veyron. The Venom has no luxury, unlike the Veyron. It has no refinement, unlike the Veyron.
