has anyone on this site spotted a C 63 AMG Coupé Black Series Performance Studio Edition??

or a C 63 AMG Coupé Performance Studio Taiwan Edition

It's not that it's a lower end exotic, I just don't think it is exotic in any way whatsoever. FOS, Jon, Justin, and Nick don't live in rich areas with lots of cars yet they agree with me. There is more to an exotic car than just that it is rare to you. The fact is that it is just a faster C Class that 99% of people wouldn't give a second glance if it drove by.

I think anything with an //AMG badge is exotic. I literally jump up and down whenever I see a Mercedes with an //AMG badge on it. Like yesterday, I finally found my first G63 //AMG. I was soooo excited.

But sadly, for me, half the time I find //AMG cars, they are always fake for some reason -______________-

i wont go out of my way to photograph an AMG unless its a SLS or a Black Series... never seen a Black Series

but if i come across an AMG especially a C63 i will photograph it

it doest excite me like a Ferrari or Lamborghini would or even something alittle lower but i still consider it a low end exotic

I vote absolutely yes. It's sort of expensive, it looks good, sounds GREAT, and has a lot of horsepower and great performance. What else is an exotic supposed to have?

Andrew: I was wondering why you tried to make your point with Justin and Nick seeing lots of them and not being in very wealthy cities, because you also told Danny that rarity shouldn't have that much of a say.

Hmmmm...in Miami...people didn't give a 2nd glance to any RR or Bentley. Heck, Granturismos and Quattroportes weren't even head turners.

I said that to show Danny that they are common even in areas unlike Beverly Hills and Miami since he seems to think unusual equals exotic. Personally (although all of our opinions differ greatly) I think an exotic car should be a really special thoroughbred that would catch anyone's eye as it drove by. A Bentley may be common for me and I usually don't take pictures of them but it is still definitely an exotic car. I view a C63 as far less exotic than a M3. The fact is that it looks exactly like a normal C class and it is not rare. It's not that expensive either.

The C63 won't catch the attention of anyone but a person that knows cars. Also, he was saying that a car being rare shouldn't be a big reason about it being exotic. The Jaguar X-Type Wagon is rare, is it exotic? No. Same goes for many other cars. Just because a car is rare doesn't mean it is exotic. The M3 is about as rare as the C63, yet that has often been considered as not exotic, so why exactly is the M3 not while the C63 is when neither should be?

Yes the C63 is fast but the fact is that it is not expensive, rare, special or unusual looking, it doesn't have an impressive badge, and it does not get any attention on the street. I fail to see how it is remotely exotic.

You people don't get it. Nobody comes to Exotic Spotter to see a bunch of C63s. The only reason that you guys even post them is so you can have more of a quantity on your page. I, for one, don't even post AMGs anymore unless I'd spot a Black Series or an SLS. It boggles my mind that you guys REALLY want this C63 category, but it's absolutely ridiculous. They're not rare AT ALL where I live. Keep in mind that I live in Louisville, Kentucky -- not the first place you think of for exotic cars.

You HAVE TO UNDERSTAND that we'd MUCH rather see Maseratis, Bentleys, Aston Martins, and other cars that are actually exotic in the non-featured section. C63s that are posted are just wasted space and are only uploaded to give somebody a quantity of pictures. I mean really, people. How many times have you gotten overly-excited after seeing a tunes Mercedes C class?

Who wants a C63 category? I was only stating my opinion on whether I think it's exotic, not if it should have a category.

And Nick, you have a photo of an SLK55 AMG. That is far less exotic than a C63.

Going back to September? I posted a lot of BS in the past. How about referring to a recent picture of an AMG that I've posted?

We've all posted BS spots at one point, but it's about time to stop that nonsense.

i still think C63's are low end exotics
but maybe less is more for the other cars section.. hmm
