I'm in an arguement with someone in my class. One of my friends and I think the Veyron is legal to drive on the streets of New York but someone else and one of his friends are trying to claim it isn't. I need as much HONEST votes (dont pick sides because you want me to win or lose) as i can get within the next few days so we can see who wins.

Yes- I don't think they can ban a car for one state only.

That's what i keep saying but he wont listen to my reasoning. He's saying "i know it's legal in America because the rappers drive them but it's definitely illegal in New York". No... Just no.

I was told by one of my friends that a Murcielago wasn't aloud in NYS. Then I showed him my pic of one with NY plates on it

Well, actually Tesla is banned from Texas but that's the only example i can think of. And lol. I dont want to start another debate. He's already trying to convince the other people in my classes that it's illegal.

Tesla isn't banned from Texas, they are still 100% legal in insurable. They just aren't allowed to sell cars through the manufacturer, so some have to get it delivered to friends.

Yeah, true. So there are no exceptions.

Some cars can be illegal to register in certain states but that almost never happens and new cars are not affected by this. In the past you could not buy certain Corvettes in CA because it has stricter emissions laws than most states. You can legally register a Bugatti Veyron in NY.
