I'm wrong? Both the 912 and 914 were collaborations between Porsche and Volkswagen. Is a Cayenne exotic? A Boxster or a Cayman? No, so what makes these Volkswagen powered cars any more exotic?

But you did say both are exotic just because they are Porsches. By that logic, the boxster and cayenne should be exotic, which they are not.
