I hate when I see an exotic car and it has ugly rims or an awful body kit. I think Modifying an exotic car such as a Ferrari or Lambo is stupid and it completely ruins the car. A car is meant to look the way the is was designed and yet people spend good money ruining a perfectly good car.

well some companies make good money off of doing that. like the Masonry Renovatio SLR is amazing. but they cayenne the made is eww.

Have you seen the mansory Mclaren? Its ok but i wouldnt have it doen to my car. take my dads panamera for example when mansory got hold of that they trashed the looks of that car. now i have seen a mansory panamera that was totally different and it looked great

Modifying cars is a great way to show that you take greater interest in your car than simply using it as a fashion piece. Granted, some of the modifications to supercars are outlandish and tasteless to say the least (arabs tend take this to the extreme as they don't have enough places to put their money apparently). However, I fully support devoting extra time/money to make your car stand out from everyone elses.

I think exterior mods are usually unnecessary, but modifying the engine or chassis shows that you care about your car. Simply changing the exhaust the system on my dad's M5 can give an extra 15hp.

There are very few times that I even like a modified exotic. Personally, I feel that the car company (usually) puts massive amounts of money into making the car the best that it can be, and tuning it tends to ruin the balance that the car maker has created. This is just my view of it, but I personally tend to dislike tuned exotics all together.

Companies that modify exotics with tacky/ugly/useless accessories only cater to rich folks who have more money than good taste.

Depends on the car in my opinion. Most exotics I wouldn;t mod but something like a Camaro SS or a Mustang GT needs to be modded.
