Now to answer my own question: It's really hard to choose one for me but out of the modern cars they are probably, in no particular order the Aventador, 8C, F12, 458 Italia, Koenigsegg Agera and Corvette Stingray C7.

Ferrari F40 and 288 GTO. They capture the essence of what supercars should be, the perfect balance between rarity, power, looks, and that special quality that just makes you want one. They are the cars that you stop to really look at in a line of other supercars. The ones you admire, who's owners you envy. They are the essence of the word "supercar."
