Prehaps that everyone has got his own tastes, maybe because in Europe the Japanese car culture is more diffuse than USA but we really like it. The design is in part ispired to the GT-R R34.
And I don't agree with Justin (''it is a piece of sh*t governed by computers.'') IMO an Italian supercar should be raw, without any computer; while a GTR should be like Tokyo... full of technology.
