Ever since the GT500 catagory was removed I have been wondering whether or not the 'classic' Shelby GT350's and GT500's are considered exotic or not...

I think they should be exotic since they're reasonably rare and can be moderately priced.

Thoughts??

Every GT500 and GT350 is super exotic. New and old.

I agree with that but sadly not everyone else does.

I know right. I wish the category wasn't removed.

I say that the 67's and 68's are definitely exotic. I've been lucky enough to spot a 1968 GT500 King of the Road. I've even spotted an "Eleanor". These are amazing cars.

But the new GT500's are probably not exotic due to their annual production numbers alone.
