The Subaru WRX STI and the Mitsubishi Evo. As shown in Top Gear, when tuned right, they can outrun a supercar in the quarter mile, and take them on in the corners as well. Plus it was a stock evo that beat a lambo in the corners

The looks of the Veyron may be subjective but to discount it completely is downright ignorant. The insane amounts of engineering behind it and build quality of the car are beyond belief and no other car today comes close to it in those ways. Also remember that the Veyron was released 10 years ago. It set the standard for supercars and will undeniably go down as a legend.
Cars that are overrated IMO:
250 GTO (not that good looking, relatively not that rare, and not really that successful in racing either)
GTR. It may be fast but it looks like a normal Nissan and the people that like it are often delusional.
Hennessey Venom. Anyone can make anything go fast with enough power. It is based on a Lotus so they could cheat all of the safety regulations and is pretty much a death trap.
Aston Martin DB AR1. It looks good but is pretty much horrible in every way.
E30 M3. (I know I will receive hate for this one)

Ferrari 308/328. Almost nothing is more fun to drive than those.
Lamborghini LM002

I love the DB AR1 but agree fully on the E30 M3. They're boring, sound like a normal car, and don't even look good at all but for some unknown reason tons of people like them.
